St. Francois
Saint François was originally a fishing port, located on the south coast, at the eastern end of Guadeloupe. The city has since acquired another image, that of a tourist destination par excellence with superb beaches, the beautiful marina, a casino, an 18-hole golf course and the aerodrome.
But the traditional side is still there, the fishing port with its pelicans, traps, nets, its town center with traditional houses, the superb church and the rotunda market, all alive and well preserved.
The low rainfall in the region will allow you to enjoy the most beautiful beaches on the island: the magnificent Raisins Clairs beach, Anse la Gourde, Pointe des Châteaux, and many others…
Golf of Saint-Francois
Designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones in 1978, the Saint-François golf course has recently been renovated. It is the only 18-hole golf course in Guadeloupe and deploys its 5990m course between coconut palms, sandy bunkers and small ponds.
Both technical and accessible, this course is suitable for experienced players who want to put their technique to the test as well as beginners or players wishing to learn.

La Pointe des castles

Near the golf course of Saint-François, the aerodrome of Saint-François is equipped with a passenger terminal and a 600 m bitumen runway allowing it to accommodate low-tonnage aircraft up to 5.7 tonnes. Thanks to him, Saint-François has become the first aero-leisure base in the Caribbean. Due to its capacity and location, it is mainly oriented towards general aviation.
